In Stack or Sink, survival decides the winner. A tall tower helps only while you can climb it and stay above the rising hazard. These tips focus on decisions you can practice from your first round.
1. Build a route you can actually climb
Before placing a prop, check the distance from your current foothold. Look for a reachable landing and a way to continue upward. If you keep falling between pieces, shorten the next step before trying to gain more height.
2. Check the hazard before attacking
Throwing uses a prop you could have kept for building. When danger is close, make your escape route first. When you have breathing room, look at a rival and decide whether the throw is worth giving up your next building piece.
3. Learn which throws you can catch
Eligible weak throws can be caught or countered. Every incoming object is not a safe catch. Practice the timing in Training Grounds and use the current prompts; leave room to avoid an attack when a catch is uncertain.
4. Use Solo Survival to practice building
Work on placing and climbing without splitting your attention between rivals. Then try a public match. Empty public seats can be filled by clearly labeled bots, so check the labels when learning how opponents behave.
5. Practice the controls on your device
Follow the in-game action labels. On a phone, get comfortable with the on-screen controls and hold-and-release timing before trying to build and fight at once. If a control is unclear, return to Training Grounds for another attempt.
6. Change one decision next round
After an elimination, identify the moment your escape stopped working. Was the next step too far away? Did you throw a prop you needed? Pick one change for the next round so you can tell whether it helped.
